Job Duties (partial list- lots of interesting things to participate in)
Learn lots of innovative things:
See and use the most innovative techniques for growing plants.
 

Plant seeds from unique and wonderful plant varieties.

Start unique, rare and exotic seedlings. Watch them grow and produce!

Create super fruit. have you ever seen blackberries this big?

Start cuttings, seedlings and even try grafting varieties with our unique high production methods

Create no weed raised beds

Grow happy delicious squash

Create new flower beds and designs
Plant, water and care for many seedlings flats
Remove weeds while they are still small
Make mushroom growing logs
Automate tasks to work smarter.

Learn how we grow and multiple many varieties of beautiful orchids and passion vines.

Learn to take and edit excellent digital photographs.


 

Prepare and package plants for sale and shipping.
Guide some of the garden tours.

See unusual wildlife like this butterfly caterpillar

Make markers and create inspirational signs
Help keep things clean and organized.

Raise fancy moths and butterflies

Keep bird feeders full and appealing

Assist breeding fancy butterfly koi fish and multiply water lilies


Help make healthy things to sell at the local framer's market. Meet lots of fun people.

The BIZ Office experience

Help with our Internet business at times, logging in orders into Quickbooks, helping get orders into the mail, and answering the phones as needed.
Learn how to make a website and start your own internet business.
Learn how to write, self publish and sell your own book

FOOD!
Eat healthy. Have fun trying many unique varieties of fruits and vegetables.
Try super healthy dishes that give you the most energy.
Bake home-made sprouted grain breads.
Try home made strawberry banana ice cream with no sugar or diary needed.
Make fabulous home grown salads
Gather fresh eggs from colorful free range chickens
Enjoy dinner parties with interesting visitors and friends.
Help plant, pick and prepare healthy meals.

Enjoy our workshops, music and wildflower photography festivals.

Enjoy walks in the lush green woods. Wildflowers, wild mushrooms, creeks, butterflies, birds.

WHAT WE ARE NEEDING:
* An energetic go-getter that would love this kind of experience - watch things grow, see new projects getting done daily. Eat the healthiest food. Learn many new innovative things daily.
* Need reliable honest help with to watch over the farm when the owners are out of town.
* Feed the critters and play with the animals
* Keep weeds out and plants happy.

What we don't want:
Unreliable: Oops, forgot, didn't show up, important things not done, let plants die, couldn't be found, forgot to tell us they were going to be gone for 5 days. Had weird friends start showing up.

Dishonest: Things started to disappear, they started acting weird, they didn't think we would find out. We did.

Bad habits: Said they didn't smoke, take drugs, abuse alcohol, but they did. They got sent home.

Lazy and sloppy: Told after arriving they really didn't want to get their hands dirty, were allergic to dirt, liked to stay up late at night, were late getting up in the morning. Needed supervision to get anything done. Noisy, loud, opinionated. annoying. Endless talker. Would rather talk than get stuff done. Couldn't work around anyone else - they would want to talk and distract them. Would leave tools out in the rain. Unorganized - needs a babysitter. Always seems to be on break. Not a team player. They got the least done of anyone - not a team player. Not worth having here.

Escapee - endless complainer about a bad relationship, job, life, situation.

Requirements:
Someone that would really enjoy this learning lifestyle, not just a free place to live.
A total non-smokers, no illegal drugs please. Honest, trustworthy, responsible person that can be left alone in charge. We are here to teach and grow forward not baby-sit or resolve lots of wild personal problems.
